 I miss you!

Had an unusual start.. Perhaps a late night sleep and an early awakening to reality does that to your day..
As usual started reading the paper, something that i see everyday and have been seeing long..

Times of India, Page 4, Obituary/Remembrance column.

Times, reminds you to remember a loved one, the moments you shared together, and to share it with your kith and kin..
As usual it does have the adv. rates too. You need to pay to remember somebody dear too :)

I would easily read it as "Hey Dad, I miss you" on any normal day..

But then today, I read it as

002 - Remember?

Think before u ask it again
U ask it quite often dont u?
U ask it when U have forgotten
U ask it when U think of me all of a sudden
" Do U Remember Me!!!!"
If i say a yes... Its ornamental
But then thats the fact
I remember each of you,
for you have made an impression,
Helped me achieve something
I remember each of you,
every time i improve it
We might have become strangers,
We might not recognize each other,
But then I treasure our relation
Coz you made me what I am!

007 - Rangoli

Who would watch Rangoli early on a Sunday morning?

Used to watch as a child, guess hema malini used to host it those days... the show was my gateway to old songs..

After ages.. almost 15 years.. happened to watch it last week... Yes I woke up early on a Sunday :)

And a new song added to my database.. :) Liked it..

The song....

Lyrics:

Mujhe bhi log kehte hain, ki yeh jalve paraaye hain
Mere hamraah bhi rusvaaiyaan hain mere maajhi ki -2
Tumhaare saath bhi guzri hui raaton ke saaye hain
Chalo ek baar phir se..

Taarruf rog ho jaaye to usko bhoolnaa behtar
Taalluk bojh ban jaaye to usko todnaa achchha
Voh afsaana jise anjaam tak laana na ho mumkin -2
Use ek khoobsoorat mod dekar chhodna achchha
Chalo ek baar phir se..

Kash ye mumkin hota..

006 - omi

Last weekend, as usual we were out at some shopping mall. Guess i need not say that it was crowded :) People seemed to be in a hurry that most of them decided to climb escalators rather than wait. Looked like there is a treasure hunt going on. Wifey got irritated and chose to join them!

The lazy me just stood there. Suddenly somebody got hold of my neck from behind and then moved to the shoulders and tried to choke me. Pushed him aside. He repeated the act. We continued for next two three rounds and meanwhile we were on to the third floor.

Was surprised to see a police station on the terrace. I could see some cops in white and white uniform. I called them and they arrested the guy. He is a most wanted criminal! But then he started pleading to me and begged to set him free. He then handed over a ONE rupee coin and asked again. I refused. One of the by stander then told me that its a norm that we forgive if somebody gives out One rupee and repents for his sins.

I stood alarmed! And then " XYZ motion picuters presents..." appeared in front of me followed by "OMI" (Written in a language i dont know, but I could read it!) and its translation "ONE"

......And before I could watch the movie, I woke up :)

This is what happens if you wake up early on a Sunday, tire physically & mentally, have a beer followed by a filling lunch and doze off on the couch.
